Where can you go after swim lessons?
The Kachemak Swim Club (KSC) is a great place to continue building the skills of young swimmers.  KSC offers swim group instruction for 5 year olds and up.  The different levels of the program, (Dolphin, Novice, Age Group, Junior, and Senior), are designed to improve the proficiency of the swimmer in each basic stroke, (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke).  Additionally, for those who desire, competitive opportunities are available on the Kenai Peninsula, State, and Regional levels.

To enter the program, new swimmer be able to swim the length of the pool using the freestyle stroke, tread water, bob, streamline, and flutter-kick with a kick board.  These skills are all taught during the Aquatic Center’s basic swim lesson classes.
